Fort
Greene
Monsters.
A weekly drop-in baseball scramble for kids. Music in the air, dust on the cleats, and America's pastime taught from scratch. Sweet spot is ages 5–10 — bring a mitt and we'll handle the rest.
What's the deal?
It's a scramble.
Think pickup ball with a soundtrack — for kids. We meet once a week, 90 minutes, and rotate through drills, light scrimmage, and the fundamentals. Sweet spot is ages 5–10. Never held a bat? Perfect. Already crushing it in tee-ball? Also perfect.

Learn the game
Catching, throwing, hitting, base-running. Real coaching, no pressure.

Light scrimmage
Mixed teams every week. Wins don't count — but the dingers do.

Make friends
Music on the speaker, snacks in the dugout, new buddies on the bench.
About the Monsters
Who we are.

The Fort Greene Monsters are a brand-new, drop-in baseball club for Brooklyn kids. Not a league. Not travel ball. Just neighborhood kids meeting up once a week to learn America's pastime — together.
Picture a Saturday in 1989: a boombox in the dugout, parents cheering from the fence, a six-year-old trying their first swing. That's the energy. We rotate through kid-friendly drills, run a light scrimmage, and call it a day in 90 minutes flat.
Your kid doesn't need experience. They don't need gear (besides a mitt). They just need to show up. Bats and balls are on us.

Who's it for?
Kids ages 5–10. Grown-ups stay to cheer (or help coach).
